Helmets, visibility and maintenance checks that matter most.
Most of what keeps a rider safe is decided before the ride starts.
A correctly fitted helmet, working lights and correctly inflated tyres cover more risk than any single feature on the vehicle. Check brake pads and tyre tread on a schedule rather than when something feels wrong.
If you are choosing between models, ABS is the specification worth prioritising — and on many vehicles it is switchable or cornering-aware, which the spec sheet will tell you.
